I will tell you guys this. Anything from ASR Engineering will be a great product (mod).
The work he's done for the M5/M6's has been outrageous and make REAL horsepower. He's the reason why my E60 M5 has run an 11.65 sec. 126 mph trap in the 1/4 mile. 2nd fastest is US as per Dragtimes. The #1 E60 M5 was also built by ASR.

You will never go wrong with ASR.

It looks very good....But the issue is that its gunna get heat soaked. I like the WeRks Intake better becuase its pulling in COLD air.

It seem to me that the factory box would do better job of not getting heat soak. It's a cold air intake, the ASR is not(it does look good)

 

The Werks seems to be much Higher Quality & higher in HP #'s.......It looks to really work when your 60mph+ All the COLD air is rushed straight into the intake. Were on the ASR the COLD air is lost and gets thrown in the HOT motor to end up getting heat soaked by the time it reaches the air filter

 

factory box is good for LOTS of HP and more than enough to handle a stock turbo car with GIAC or similar and exhaust.
Most, if not all, of these intakes are more cosmetic. If you want to brighten it up in there consider GMG or Werks one carbon units.

 

to be honest the werx box just for show and nice peice of design no hp result this looks like some thing gives u big numbers of hp'z
