Tinted Tails

Tinted Tails
Just wanted to throw out some props to Eddie and the guys at Detailing Dynamics (Site Sponsor). Sent them my lights and had them clear coated and here are the results. Would highly recommend these guys as their service and attention to detail is second to none.

I have a white TT too and last week was parked next to one with tail lights blackened just like yours. He also had the roof painted flat black, the windows very dark tinted and black tailpipes (not to mention all sorts of stuff under the hood, lowered, etc., etc.). If you want to see a pic from my cell phone, send me a pm.

Not to be a party-pooper, but aren't tinted tails illegal in most states? The only reason I ask, is that I seem to attract police officers (everything from not having a front plate to window tint too dark, etc.)
Anyone ever been pulled over for tinted tails?

They are not near as dark as they look in the picture. I am not very good a photog so I couldn't really get a "true" representation of what they really look like. This was the light version of what they do.

If you have things to hide(like drinking and driving or weed) I wouldn't get them tinted.. I have had a couple friends pulled over for tail lights and ended up in bigger trouble.. Their own fault for being a idoit.
I see some tinted tail that look good and other that remind me of a 88 mustang with cheap tail light covers...JMO

I thought I was the only one that thought that. Tinted lights remind me of those "GTO" covers you saw on the mustangs and camaro's, etc. Make the car look like trash IMO

Great - I got mine from Matt & Eddie also. Did you get the tinted markers to match from them?
