turbo has much shorter gearbox so it's not noticeable.

The absolutely max for standard ones is 550PS.
Yes the European tuners are offering 600PS kit also, but turbines are modified.!!!
So what is so great about US tuners and what European tuners don't know??
Yes you can probably reach 650 Ps but you need to modify heads and cams.
Lets cut this talk and focus please on best garretts we can use.
Hehe I have done a couple of posts of the similar subject around here because I have similar experience like you earlier mentioned that a xxx hp car from US was not as fast compared to lower hp cars.

The ECU tweaking skills of US tuners can not be that superior like they advertise. I believe the higher numbers they claim for the same parts are mainly due to dyno differences.

People do not know that engine dynos or MAHA dynos seem to provide lower, more realistic outputs than the others. At least the performance on road (on Autobahn!) says so...

But I can also add that the EVO700 kit with everything is really good!

Ouch! Well the good thing is this proves you got a lot of power...

How many broken drive shafts with 997TT's in this forum? After all, isn't everybody driving their cars with 700hp or so around here?

Yeah man you not making enough power until you breaking things like drive shafts or axles so this is good a thing. You should buy a carbon fiber drive shaft or titanium one which you can make 1200 HP and not even come close to breaking it even if you were to launch it 7 grand lol.

I think there is no need for drive shafts at this point, we have here in Europe some companies, the one in Belgium is delivering drive shafts for F1 cars, I know at least two more here a round.
The turbines are very small, the most of U.S tuners are reaching same level of power with VTG units.
I just would like to have German 600-620Ps(about 750HP) with lot of toque at mid range and no problem with high back pressure.
But who knows, will see.

Mate, how you will controll these turbos ? Stock ECU can control VTG turbos by there electric actuators and it cant controll turbos with wastegate, so you will use external boost controller or what ? Btw what is the name for your tuner who made the software for your car ?

Your car is amazing really i love it, one of the best Porsches and tuned projects i ever seen..........and i see and tuned many of them.....

I will control it with stock ecu. No need for additional boost controller.
Happy to hear that you like my project.
Btw I was very busy last week so the engine is still on the floor, this week there will be some progress.
I have dyno date in two weeks in Germany for some ecu adjustments.

Finally I have pipes between new turbines and air cleaner box, picture attached.

You will need at least additional electronic boxes for wastegate control to drive them with stock ECU But 997tt ECU cant controll wastegates directly like on 996tt. These cars(997tt) have turbines with ECU controled by cables stepper motors what drive VTG actuators to adjust boost level, to control wastegated turbos you need electronic boost solenoid what can controll amount of boost going to wastegate actuators, these two principles are a lot different

Are you sure that there is enough space between body and engine to fit these pipes ? Btw such soft pipes are not so good idea because they often crack and turbines suck air before AFMs so engine parameters are out of control if the pipes crack. We here 9ff 997tt car and 9ff use such soft pipes, in that car they both cracked and car run like sh..t before we repair them with new ones custom made by aluminium, that is more good and reliable idea i think

Btw i cant reply to your PM because i am to young user here yet, need to have at least 15 posts to reply PMs )))))))
