Well..with moderate launch and with extra person holding a laptop...It lost about 0.9 in 1/4 on a driftbox and in auto mod 60-130 7.9 so far (before was 10.4, no extra person and colder weather)....on pump I think...but really all those numbers are nothing...real track test and race against simular car will show how it really runs...

We should test against your 650 996 TT as well...

No I think I'm going to need a small shot to stay with Rus's 997. But we'll film both n/a and nos and see how it does. Would love to run you in the Audi. We're finishing up the interior and some other minor things and then I'll get it to Tym's dyno to break-in and finish the tune next month. I can't wait, the S4 should be a solid runner.

Sort-of, I'll call him again early next week. The Z is pretty much stock with a 2 stage.

michael, i just went for a ride in your 997 tip with tym yesterday. he wanted to see how effectively the monster intercoolers worked on back to back runs. your car is the fastest 997 tip i have been in so far. both runs were identical and recorded 0 - 60 time of 3.4 seconds, 60 - 130 times of 7.8 seconds, and 1/4 mile time of 11.4 @ 128 mph. congratulations, i thinks these are great numbers for a tiptronic.

Just so I understand, these are numbers from a 750 kit???? Also, what octane fuel?

Thanks!

RUS,

there is probably much more tuning to be done before your kit is finalized. My Stage II AWE car turned a 7.7s 60-130mph run on the stock turbos. Haudimal's stock tip turned an 8.4s 60-130mph run, but his car seems much stronger than most.

there is definitely some more tuning to be done. this 750 kit is still a work in progress. is your car a 6 speed or tiptronic?

mike, this is a 750 kit in progress with VTG turbochargers. there is still some tuning left to be done. just out of curiosity, can you share some 60 - 130 times, 1/4 mile times, or dyno graphs on your packages for a 997 tiptronic? it seems like these tiptronics don't do as well as the 6 speeds. what has been your experience with the tips?

dk from what I have seen the tips are faster than the 6spd since there are fewer shifts. A stock tip will do a 60-130 run in 1 shift vs a stock 6spd that needs 2 shifts. I would think that would be the same for modded cars as well, especially if a modded tip could run 60-130 in 1 gear. My AWE 700 kit ran 60-130mph in 6.9s on the street, and should be able to better that time on a prepared track surface

the tips are definitely quicker off the line as you can leave on boost. however, they seem substantially slower from a roll, especially from 60 - 130. for some reason, i have always been able to get a quicker 60 - 130 time on my 997 with 1 shift instead of 2. i would run 5.21 seconds with 1 shift and 5.4 seconds with 2 shifts.
