GT2 exhaust for 911 turbo

Wrong what? If a dealer choses to honor a warranty claim he generally does not suffer the cost (labor and/or parts), he submits to PCNA for reimbursement. PCNA can always deny claim and not pay dealer. If dealer wants to "eat" the cost for goodwill purposes that's his choice. So what was wrong?

I've driven the GT2 (35 miles, rpm up to about 6000) and listened to a second one another time. The exhaust note of the GT2 is a little louder than stock Turbo, has more low frequency rumbling, but still relatively quiet and continuous in character and IMHO not too exciting. If sound is what you are looking for, both AWE and Cargraphic exhausts sound better to my ears. Just my 2 cents, this is a matter of personal preference so YMMV.
As far as reducing back pressure, I don't know what the GT2 stock exhaust uses, but perhaps something like 400 or 600 cell cat or whatever it is that the stock Turbo uses? If true then both AWE and Cargraphic, using 200 cell cat, are "better."
The main advantage would be weight saving, but AWE and Tubi are also a bit lighter than stock.

You are welcome, John. In case you don't already know, I am an over-the-top nutty audiophile who uses tube equipments a for my stereo (LOL, as if that would make my opinion more trustworthy) so sound is important. Perhaps more relevant, I have listened to multiple after market exhausts to know a good one when I hear one (AWE, Tubi, GMG, & Cargraphic).

Peace - no war needed. If a repair is done someone pays - owner, dealer, PCNA, 3rd party insurer or a combination of all 4. Some dealers are more "generous" and understanding than others so they find a way to get paid by PCNA, others don't want the hassle and deny claims pretty quickly and regularly. The key is to find that right dealer - they know how to process warranty claims so they get paid.

not sure how many of you have heard the exhaust itself but it's pretty close to that of a stock 997tt. It's not exactly a "thrilling" sound;(
I did spent the day with one...

If you look at the initial post of this topic the person postulated that since it was a porsche exhaust there would be not warranty issues. etc.
