Can`t understand it. It has a topspeed from over 400mph. It is because a woman driving it.
(Ich sollte mal eben bei Sabine Schmitz vorbei fahren und sie zur Rechenschaft fordern, sind ja nur 3km.
Thanks for posting.

I'm sure they sandbagged the crap out of it, the thing is 0.6 quicker to 300km/hr than a Veyron...you're telling me it has traction problems and can't do a 1/4 mile faster than an LP640 and a Callaway?? C'mon now...lets be sensible...you can clearly see it was doddling by the finish line.
They had to have fudged it to make sure the results panned out the way they did. That's why they made a big deal about "taking the advantage away from the 9ff" verbally and exaggeratedly in front of the camera. If the Porsche won, then the Germans would have taken the whole competition...Top Gear pretty much fixes all their races and comparisons for maximum drama and entertainment rather than real world results...
How else do all their car vs train/plane/donkey races end with a scramble to the finish? It'd be absurd to think a race across a country and the 10,000 variables works out so it comes down to a few seconds at the end...

The 9ff GT9 may have an incredible Vmax, but watch the lag in this review:

tough stuff...
So, that 9ff is pretty hot looking....can't think why it got romped by a Callaway Vette though. As much as I'm a vette-lover, I know a 959 would have taken that to town, so why would Ruf build something that wasn't worthy of killing a Callaway Vette? (forget gearing, although they DID say that car would spend a few seconds spinning tires..)
