Eisenmann Germany releases a 997tt exhaust
I'm a BMW guy, and I've never had a Porsche (yet!), but when I ordered my exhaust, Eisenmann sent me some info on a 997 Turbo system. Apparently it's super limited market, and they're only making a few of em. Anyway, thought you guys might like to see it:
"The Porsche 997 Turbo system is brand new from Eisenmann GmbH in 2008, and sports a number of new features unique to this system. The 997TT exhaust comes with catalytic converters- a first for Eisenmann. The Sport system comes with a 400 cell cat, while the race system comes with a 200 cell cat. Additionally, this new 997 system features valve actuation from inside the cabin, for control of sound volume at the push of a button. Because Eisenmann is an OEM manufacturer for
Porsche, fitment is every bit as good as the OEM system."
Eisenmann NA
The system featured below is a pre-production unit, and does not represent the final version.

Found a link to a sound clip from their website:
I guess this one is for the 200 cell race version of it.

Not bad, although a longer clip with more revs would be better.

sounds like it does not bring anything that new to the table when compared to a cargraphic - sounded a bit similar on my pc speakers. still, i bet there are a number of e46 m3 owners who upgraded to 997TT's as potential buyers, I know it was well received on the M3.

4-5k is the new 3k for imported exhausts into the US though. weak dollar and historically high stainless prices.

More like 8k and a 10 week build time for the exhaust. Will have a OE like fit. No one has this exhaust in North America as of today.

With all the fuss about fake Eisenmann exhausts I'd be cautious - check out the german website http://www.eisenmann-sportauspuff.ov3.de/produkte.htm and there's no mention of ANY porsche products.....
