Sky,

You can set the readout to be in either bars or psi. You can also set the display to be numeric or sliding bar graph. I like psi personally, and I leave the display on numeric readout.

The boost pressure displayed will depend on lots of factors, not just throttle position (ie WOT). Ambient air temp and thus density play a big part in how much boost is dialed up at full throttle, as is engine load, like going up a slight grade.

With SC on, I have seen up to 17-18 psi at WOT.

At WOT, I usually hit 17-18 PSI. With the Evoms DV's, it stays there until I let off the pedal.

okay - what would cause mine to be only 10-12psi in that case ?.

btw. what is WOT ? pardon the ignorance there.

okay - what would cause mine to be only 10-12psi in that case ?. it seems a little low compared with what everyone else is reporting at WOT.

The PSI/BAR measurements from the on dash computer are pretty inaccurate. I've personally seen a difference of at least 2-3 PSI from a manual boost gauge.

VTG telemetry

As I understand it, with variable vane geometry the gauge is not entirely precise (as it was in the 996 TT). At WOT in 2nd, 3rd and 4th you should be at 17 or maybe 18 psi. With my mods I'm running about 21 psi according to tuner Tym .

I see .9-1 bar in non sport and 1.1-1.2 in sport. Turn sport on and keep the throttle wide open. Make sure you are at 2700-3000 rpm to see those numbers. It starts falling off around above 4k.

Skyytek
You really should read you manual where it gives all the figures. With a simple chip and mufflers change you get about 3+ psi extra in sport mode ( and some in the non sport mode,) but that can depend on how your ecu was/will be flashed. Your numbers seem in the ball park
