Newly acquired 997 Turbo with pictures

So I bought GT RUS's car
Michael (GT RUS) and I reached an agreement for me to buy his Silver 911 Turbo Tip car that was recently upgraded by Tym Switzer. I took possession of the car a few days ago and drove it the 500+ miles from Tym's shop in Ohio back to my house in Tennessee. The car is nicely optioned with a 143k MSRP. It is optioned very similar to my 6speed 911 turbo, except it doesnt have the PCCB brakes and instead of Carbon fiber it has Aluminum trim.
Here is what the car had done to it:
SPI Package for 997TT/TIP – “700/750HP”:
DME Programming - Special TIP Calibration
SPI Upgraded VTG Turbochargers
SPI Exhaust System w/Offroad Pipes
SPI Header Pkg.
Dyno Testing/Tuning
SPI “Monster” Intercoolers
SPI Custom Intercooler Plumbing w/Hoses and High Boost Clamps
additional DME/TCU mods
Installation Labor
The car put down over 600 awhp on the dyno with a mixture of 93 octane and MS109 race fuel. It is very easy to drive with it being a tiptronic and I have not experienced any issues with traction. I am running the stock wheels with PS2 tires.
The car pulls very strong especially anywhere in the 0-120mph range. I took the car out today and did some acceleration tests with my Driftbox. Temperature was 75 degrees with about 70% humidity. Had 1/3 tank of 93 octane.
I was able to get 7.23 seconds on a 60-130mph run on a 2.7% decline. The car should run in the 6s when I run race gas.
I also did a 0-60 and 0-100mph run (same run) on a very flat road, and the results are as follows:
0-10 0.2
0-20 0.7
0-30 1.1
0-40 1.5
0-50 2.2
0-60 2.9
0-70 3.6
0-80 4.5
0-90 5.4
0-100 6.4
For that run I brake boosted up to about 2500 rpms and flew off the line. Sport mode on, PSM off. I let the the transmission shift completely on its own. 60ft was 1.7 seconds, 1/8 mile was 7.0 @ 105.3mph. Max long G during the run was 1.207 Gs @ 34 mph. Very impressive.
Overall I am very impressed with the car. It had zero reliability issues with the long trip back, and it handled the acceleration tests with ease. No check engine lights, no over heating, nothing weird, just brutal acceleration. It is easy to drive fast, and easy to drive slow.
Here are some pictures of the car, along with some pictures of the driftbox display. There is also a graph of the 60-130mph run.

Aaron, congrats on your latest acquisition! That car is so nice to have as a comfortable daily driver. Those are also some very impressive times. Why is it showing your 1320' time as 11.9s @ 70.6 mph???

Aaron, now it is time for us to get together. I want to see this beast. I was out today cruising and it would have been nice to run in to you doing your runs. Let me know when you get it out again and we can hook up. Very impressive numbers.

On a side note, I'd stay away from the Bentley. Beautiful car in and out but rides like crap. Build quality is like a low level VW.
Enjoy the rides. If you don't already, you should check them out on a track. You'll get a whole new appreciation for what you've got.

3 of my cars are gone to have some more work done on them, the TT Gallardo is back at Heffners shop, the black 911 turbo is at Switzer's shop, my Cayenne is back at EVOMS shop. My SL65 is at the mercedes dealership getting its rear differential replaced under warranty. Hopefully I get that back this week. Right now I have the ML63, silver tip 911 turbo, and F430. I am trading the F430 for a black 06 SLR this week.
I keep almost running into you by accident, we need to meet up on purpose sometime. Give me a call when you are free, I can ususally free up pretty quickly.

Thanks Michael, I am very pleased with the car. I dont know if I will be able to launch it from 3000 rpms, but I will give it a try once I am running some race gas. I havent found a good place to do a quarter mile around here, its too hilly.

What a beautiful collection and a beautiful home!! What does one do in Tennessee to be so filthy? If you don't mind sharing, of course. At at 32 yet...I can't even dream of that collection.
