Sounds like a very expensive european tuner..No price on their website.
but I cant understand why their stage 3 power kit (Performance stage 3 - 3.6 Biturbo 441kW 600 hp ) require Sportec Turbochargers in exchange without larger intercoolers??The intercoolers option only showed up in their stage 4..

An evoms620 kit keep stock turbo but larger intercoolers.Just a good ECU tune with exhaust header intake intercooler 98octane you get 620hp...

This sportec kit might be a low power/cost ratio kit as I understand...

Very expensive...excellent quality.

Don't believe all the dyno numbers...A lower staged Sportec prepped turbos have test performance numbers on par with higher HP EVOMs kits. If you are shopping for HP kits simply based on HP numbers, you are falling victim to the HP game.

Sportec should be a great company with proven performance (seen some fast times at least with their 996TT's) and there is quite lot their kits on the road.

Not the most cheapest perhaps. But 600hp with upgraded turbos is in a different league than "600hp" with the stock ones.

By the way, PM me what you want to hear about Finnish modded 911 Turbos...I might have some hints for you.

spot on +1

sportec is a quality tuner. they are expensive as most of the european tuners are. that is because of the tough european regulations (warranty, TUV, quality standards etc.)
the best Porsche Tuner is RUF imho, but with sportec u can`t go wrong either. what u see is what u get...

Any idea where would it be possible to get prices of their matte carbon products, matte wheels and/or performance products?

Does somebody know any other vendor with matte carbon products such as mirrors and side air vents?

Thanks!

I have the Sportec front brake cooling ducts. Got them from Kevin @ UMW. I think he's pretty tight with Gunther, who does all the programming at Sportec. Gunther used to be the programmer at Gemballa. They are high quality and look super cool.

I think they are much too expensive, I know this guys from nardo test in 2005, the time I was close with 9ff.
Question is what you need for your car?
I was running with the last 997 tt sportec exhaust and I noticed high back pressure, they use small diameters of pipes in combination with sound valve.
Europipe exhausts are the best in the world.
I know guy here in Poland, he send his audi to sportec for engine upgrade.I remember that was a big fight with them because 30Ps was missing!. Finally they stop to replay to his emails.end of story.

Again! only US tuners are so special that they are able to reach 600 from stock turbines!!!!

Last thing, friend of mine is also owner of sportec spr1, he paid over 600t Euro incl taxes.
I was very interested in his opinion about it.
The car quality is perfect but hi don't like it. Why? It's slow!!!
There is no hammer filling.

So what a european 550ps kit include with stock turbos?

Look this one :

http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/por...no-result.html

This one only fitted with exhaust+ECU tune(seems no header from their website,I can't understand german so you have a look then).

Look the EVOMS 610 kit offers more than what the european tuner have. You think the header+intercooler with pipes + Boost recir values not working well with a fine ECU tune and it still makes around 550hp????I don't thinks so.They also metioned different fuel you use will get a different result.Thats very true.I didnt see any european tuners metioned anyinfo regarding fuel octane grand...Thats very strange because the fuel octane grand is the most important part to have more power.

Also I had some search with european ECU only tuners most of them saying they can do just the ECU tune for 997tt to make it 540hp....Thats similer as what US tuners offering.

550PS is maximum what you can have on stock turbines.
you need ecu program (you will have up to 1,2 bar boost) and good exhaust like europipe with 76 mm pipes.
I measured my car with this set up 551PS and 690Nm on Maha dyno.
Standard coolers are fine for 1,2 bar boost street car.
If you like you can buy preformance intercoolers but the power will be the same.

standard headers are fine up to 700 European PS!!!

you have same story on dyno graph you attached.
The best modification for 'normal' people is ecu and exhaust but the difference between the stock and modified car on the street is little.
