Testing New 997TT Boost Hoses

Agency Power just received the first sample of Porsche 997 Turbo silicone boost hoses that we will be testing on the Vivid Racing Project 997 Turbo. The silicone hoses replace all 4 hoses that go from the Y-Pipe to the intercoolers and from the intercoolers to the turbos. Each silicone hose features a CNC machined aluminum fitting which will fit secure into the intercooler ends and be clamped in placed. We expect to have these tested in a week and available for sale in about 4 weeks.

Stay tuned for results and pictures here - www.vividracing.com/forums/project-997tt

The stock hoses are too soft, after incresed boost it keep bulge/pinch during fast accelerate.Easy to leaking air days after days if you keep them there.

Thanks for answering that

Yes same as on 996TT, the rubber hoses actually expand with the boost pressure which causes you to lose some pressure. As well, the factory rubber ones can pop off under higher boost. We will be fitting these this week and get some updates soon.

Finally got around to test fitting our first article. Fitment was spot on. Much more stout then the stock rubber hoses. Should help increase boost efficiency.
