This car is incredible...

I'm on the highway tonight and I'm in 6th, thats right 6th, sport chrono on and I''m doing 80 I nail it, not to the floor but about half way...boost kicks in and I'm gone literally gone, I look down and I'm at 130 within seconds, INCREDIBLE.. thats all I have to say. This car pulls 6th like most sports cars pull 3rd.

Is it stock ? If so .. there's a lot of room to grow .

If not -- what mods are you running?

Just curious, what was your boost level? I've done that around the same speed but floored it and my boost level doesn't seem to go above 13 psi stock, no mods(yet). Does that seem typical for stock boost level?

I have the gauge on bar, I believe it got up to around .9 bar, I could definetly be wrong about that though.... somebody else who knows more should chime in here.

I had a modded E55, definetly no slouch, but no where near as quick as the TT

LOL, that's funny yet so true. I had a modded Z06 before that was putting out more than 650hp, my stock TT feels slow when compared to that. But the TT feels like a rocket compared to my old stock STi.

Once you get the exhaust and Evoms ECU tune, what you just experienced will seem really slow. You are going to be really plesantly surprised

You should be seeing more boost than that. I used to get 16-17 psi in overboost mode almost everytime when my car was stock. Do you have the sport chrono package?

Hey GB, I elected not to get the sports chrono (wait, please be gentle on me) so I know I'm missing out on some thrills. My plan was to save the money for an ECU upgrade which I've ordered but not yet installed. Hopefully, the manual sport button can be made obsolete with an electronic one.

Don't feel bad. Look at the Ruf RT12...they don't have that stupid zit on the dashboard. Why have a "sport" button when you can program the ECU to be in "sport" mode all the time?

No worries. Like Bob says, you can bypass all that with a good ECU tune. I just thought that if you had the sport chrono and was only getting 13 psi, that would have been an issue.

Which ECU did you get?
