2006GT is infamous around these parts
If you end up passing, can you then PM the dealer info to the interested parties on here?

It is my belief that the price of the GT2 is going to drop fast and far, it amuses me to still see dealers and others advertising these cars over $225K.

BTW - the car I am looking at is a special color, and has all of the options.
Sounds like you should get it. If you want to compare it to the 996 variants. the 996 Turbo's are going anywhere from the low 40's to the low 60's, compare that to the 996 GT2's which are going for high 80's to 110's, so I'd say that the premium entry price will be outweighed by the premium resale value. Also, the Turbo will alway be "just another turbo" but the GT2 will always be a rare sought after classic much like the Carrera RS was back in it's day. Good luck on your final decision, but if I were in your shoes, I'd definitely go for the GT2!!!

Well, yes, 150k is a very good price and if you were in the market and did not have a 997tt or the rs then it would be great, BUT, I cant see having all 3 cars regardless of your finances. So in that case the 150 is going to rise due to the beating you will take on the tt.

Dont mean to be a damper, but having recently thought this same scenario through, thats what I came up with.
Good luck in your decision. Could be worse, eh?!!!

That's a no brainer!! If you don't buy it, please go down the list and hopefully, I will get a shot at it. But seriously, good luck with your decision.

The 997TT always knew that she was just a fling though. You date a TT and marry a GT2.

that does seem too good to be true. if he is really offering it, i would buy it and sell it and make a few bucks. last i heard, GT2's were still for $160K - $170K wholesale.

I thought it would be the other way around. The GT2 is that one fling you'll never forget, but the TT is the one you can settle down with. The GT2 might bite you when you least expect it so you cant trust her.
