My Road to 800HP with GT3076 Turbos - Story Starts

amazing times...what fuel did you used?...your car is with VTG?stock internals?

Same problem over here, i went with GT2 tires as they are semi slick but i feel they are same as stock 997tt tires.
Too much spin shift very early.

do u use one foot roll out on v box?

Here are some updates for you guys...
We added the NX Ntercooler Spray kit which sprays Nitrous on to the Intercoolers. They have a dual unit specifically for our cars. Kit includes the solenoid, 5lb bottle, twin spray rings, and lines. We made a cool grommet to run the line into the intercooler ducting. Keeping the intercooler temps down is important and at around $450 for the kit, it does its job. NX has dyno tested this kit on other cars and seen gains of around 30 horsepower. So we did it
We also added the AEM Water/Meth injection kit. The 1 gallon kit is very simple and works off of boost pressure. Great tool if you are running high boost on pump gas. When running race gas, it helps keeps the intake temps down and prevents any detonation. Here is both the NX and AEM installed in the car.
So we ran the Texas Mile with all our contramptions and got a 196. We missed the 200mph mark just barely. We learned alot about our car, boost pressure settings, aerodynamics, meth mixtures, and driving. The car ran some impressive times to us. 60-130 in 6.33 secs and a 0-60 in 3.5 secs. That was a mixture of 100 and 109 octane at 1.3bar of boost. Running straight 109 octane and a 75/25 mix of Meth and Water, we should be shaving off quite alot. Gonna take a brake on the car for a bit, then go back out for new numbers.

This system would show some nice improvements with a 80 degree ambient temperature.

vivid, from your experiance NOS sprays like your set up or water injections what is better or you used both of them?
Second thing, from where the air intake get the fresh air? i'm using Proto air intake set up and we removed the upper duct not like your set up.

The meth injection sprays in the Ypipe to prevent detonation and keep temps down. Meth burns where water does not. This is more of a safety thing when running high boost. The Nitrous is freezing the intercoolers to keep the intercooler temps cool when it is hot out. As soon as the intercoolers or air temp get hot, it basically loses efficiency. My intake is similar to how the proto setup is, except we modified the ducts to make sure the air is channeled.

Like Dan said they are different. We use the water injection to cool charge air temps entering into the cylinder while the NOS IC Sprayers cools the air leaving the IC's. They both are essentially doing the same thing but one is really more effective than the other in terms of intercooling than the other. You can make power with the water injection where the NOS sprayer just helps to cool when ambient temps are excessive.
When you look at physical properties of meth and water water is actually better for cooling in terms of latent heat.
Latent heat vaporazation in Alcohol is 855 kJ/kg and water is 2260 kJ/kg at 100c so the potential for water to absorb more of the heat energy is much greater. Methanol has a greater latent heat than alcohol depending on temperature. Compared at 100c it is around 1000 kJ/kg
Hope this helps a bit.
