Brake and Differential noises

So after another winter, I've determined the popping noise is indeed from the PS2 tires turning into bricks during the cold winter days.

Although not the desired choice for some… I drop by the service department at the local P-dealer when in doubt. The car is under warranty still and they are very good about addressing my concerns.

It's not just PS2s. Although I've got PS2s on my M3 my Turbo has Pirellis. The same issue with both in cold weather.

Does it go away after you drive it for a while? If so, I'll bet it's tires.
