Nice!!!!!!
Some of it is personal taste and I happen to like about 98 percent which BTW I liked less about my own car when I bought it off the lot . Much less.

I love the interior . The white seat backs , red stitching, red seat belts look great.

I kinda think red brakes on the white car would match the tail lights and interior and save you a little money.
I would pass on the rear wiper . I took mine off and plugged it to add the roof spoiler.
Park assist just has this luxury look to it that kinda is strange on a sports coupe.
I have read that the carbon shifter **** does not last long . I don't have one so I don't know. Maybe someone could address it.

Beautiful car though !!!! It will look outstanding.

All the engine parts are exatly what I would order to the letter. Great !!!

khaosai is infamous around these parts
Hi,

looks like you have a nicely specced car there.

Seems to be mixed feedback on the ceramic brakes tho. I personally went without, and so far happy with the standard steel brakes based on my type of driving. Another option would be some aftermarket Brembo brakes.

I also went without park assist due to the look of the rear bumper when fitted.

Enjoy.

Rgds.

My email to the sales guy after your response.

Please also add :

Red brake calipers
Delete the windscreen wiper and the park assist.

Also I would like my initials 'KDS' in red color on the dashboard.

The Turbo badge on the back of the car is also to be in red.

Just another question guys. I am buying this current generation because I have read up on the GT1 bloc engine , after I read it up here on this site. A true masterpiece of an engine. Apart from that and the LED's on the 2010 model (and of course the PDK, and DFI) , will I be missing something?
I mean , I want to have a Turbo in my collection . Will this model be the collectors edition or shall I wait for the 2010 model to come by (Although speed/power does not excite me much after driving the LP640) ?

In the pictures you show red stitching but none of the options for it. Are you doing stitching or not? If so, it opens up the carbon shifter & brake or stitching on the shifter boot dilemma. Can't have both from the factory. At least not in the U.S. I agree totally with getting the '09 with the GT1 engine rather than take a chance on what engine you will get with the '10. Only reason, to me, to wait would be to MAYBE get PDK but you want manual so doesn't matter. I would definitely stick with the PCCBs if you are not doing the red stitching. In fact I would stick to them even if doing the red stitching. A matter of function over form. Your decision. As far as a collectors edition - forget it. Way too many out there. You have spec'd out a beautiful car with all the important options. Good luck with your decision.

Sorry , I forgot to add the deviated stitching option in my post. Yep , going with stitching as shown in the pictures and also PCCB. As far as the number of 997 Turbo's goes , India has like 10 of them till date. I meant that pre 998 series, will this be a collector Turbo or should I wait for the 997.2 TT.

Stitching adds a whole new layer of complexity to your order. I went with yellow stitching since I have yellow brakes and I could not be happier. The yellow looks amazing in person and the photos do not do it justice.

To get the stitching correct, you need to order:
  • 24891-Stitching of Front and Rear Seats in Deviating Color
  • 24901-Stitching of Dashboard in Deviating Color
  • 24902-Stitching of Door Trim in Deviating Color
  • 24903-Stitching of Door Handle in Deviating Color
  • 24904-Stitching of Side Center Console in Deviating Color
  • 24905-Stitching of Rear Side Panel in Deviating Color
  • 09991-All Exclusive Options with Deviating Stitching
  • One of the exclusive handbrakes/shifters.
As mentioned above, the stitching and carbon fiber handbrake/shifter conflict so you should order the car to get the stitching correct and add the carbon fiber parts after you get the car. Adding extra leather options to your car will add more stitching and really complete the look.

Finally, don't forget CUV-Storage Compartment Lid with Model Logo. The standard lid will not have deviating stitching.

I still sometimes second guess my decision to skip the Alcantara and the yellow belts. Looks great either way though.

My Yellow Stitching
I already have :

24891
24901
24902
24904

Any pictures of 903,905 and 0991 ? And this
"One of the exclusive handbrakes/shifters." means what?

Also "Adding extra leather options to your car will add more stitching and really complete the look." I already did have Additional Leather option selected right , so in addition to deviated stitching options 903,905 and 0991 , is there any other option of it left?

And how do I get stitching on the steering wheel?

There are photos posted by JZRS4 and also in the link from my earlier post that how 24903 and 24905. Yes, you already have extra leather items and those items will be stitched by getting option 09991. XPA gets you stitching on the wheel. Don't forget the storage lid cover.

You can't get both a carbon fiber handbrake AND deviated stitching. Follow these links:

Options

Stitching (covers handbrake)

Study the guide and do NOT trust your dealer to get it right.

Since you left off a few things the first time and changed a few things, maybe you should list all of your specs again jsut to make sure we are on the same page.
