Been there, done that. I had on '07 GT Silver and sold it. Then bought an '08 so I had a chance at a "do over" and still got GT Silver again. Good luck with your choice. Really can't go wrong with either color.
Solid advice imcarnuts. Solid advice. Many thanks.

How do you like the larger brakes? Worth the $$??

I have black now. Super super shiny but I always have to think twice about taking it out. Dirt and dust really show easily.

So, if this will be your daily driver, some type of silver would be great. Weekend warrior, I like black or basalt black.
I love the black for so many reasons, but can not help to think about the cleanliness. Yes, it would be my daily driver, and we do have a lot of snow out here in Chicago burbs.

Thanks!

Thanks Nyamg

TT goes in for the evo700 kit tomorrow. New intercoolers and reworked turbos. I have already done the ECU,headers, plenum, exhaust, reverter valve, and Techart coilovers. I guess after this work I will be done

Evolution Motorsports stage 4

Illinacane, My tuner called the Evolution Stage 4 plus the reworked turbos the evo700 kit. Maybe not acurate. But sounds good.

I don't race the car so the brakes are probably overkill, but there are three reasons why I went for the PCCBs.

1. No brake dust so MUCH easier to keep wheels clean - goes back to original post of being lazy when it comes to keeping car clean.

2. I like yellow with GT Silver better than red.

3. I wanted the latest - greatest (ego)

I saw a new Basalt Black 911 here in the Seattle area a few months back. It was absolutely gorgeous. A friend of mine got some photos of it, and after looking at the pictures we noticed huge reflections of purple hidden within the paint depending on how the sunlight reflected off of it. Was it just our camera, or is there something in the basalt black paint producing this effect? Anyone know?

He deleted the pictures unfortunately...

Black is timeless. If you plan to keep the car for a while, its definitely a good choice. 993 in black, *drool*
