Vq motoring GTR walked on a modded 997TT

I have to say that i never seen a GT3 handl this bad!!! this guy went out of his way to make it look bad.
Regardless, i think the Nissan is a good car but still not a sports car like a 997TT or a 997 GT3

No? Then one phrase sums up this race...redline.
There's a reason why "Rickie Cruz" hasn't posted since 10/08

Point
I miss the point here. Your GTR is faster than your 997TT, and .......?
The 997TT was stock in this video.. We purchased it just a few days prior to this. The 997TT is now modded and the GTR still walks it. The GTR has accessport Tuned and Turbo back exhaust pushing 530whp. With the tranny the GTR has there is no way the 6speed 997TT can keep up.
Thanks again,

Poorly worded
Hi Rickie,
My question was poorly worded so let me try again. I'm not a fan of debates of one car is "faster" than another but those who are, well it's all cool, right?
There is a lot of interest, especially in the media, of which of the new cars is "faster." However, you are in a unique position to actually drive both. What I was trying to ask is if you could comment on the seat "feel" or car "connection" of driving both under different conditions and styles (i.e. performance issues vs speed).
Thanks.
K.

530 whp with a accessport and exhaust? That's a pretty lofty claim.
What is the trap speed? That will tell us if it can really walk a 997 TT or if the TT needs the driver mods, because that was not an A for effort in that video.

The only gtr I ever faced was at lightning in nj, in the red group. The gtr was just a spec in my rear view mirror, not even close. Fast car but still ugly as sin.
Bottom line, a 'modded 997tt' pushing 530hp should walk a gtr all day long on the track.
Of course that vid is just some meaningless street encounter, lets see a track vid if you wanna make the claim that a gtr will walk a tt, which it won't!

What are you trying to prove?
The truth is the GTR is a boy racer car, its cheap horsepower and it fits the crotch rocket crowd well. The GTR residual value is horrid, the false advertising claims are ground for a class action law suit against NIssan (when you say a car can do 0-60 in X you better allow your customers to di it without voiding a warranty) and the car is butt UGLY.
There is not one guy on the 997TT board that couldn't afford 2 of them, so lets move on. No one wants it!
Those that do are after cheap horsepower, next!
