PASM Failure

Sport Mode not working..... any quick fix or time for dealer service?

I have PSS10's... will that void any service to this issue?

Good bye suspension related warranty. Probably something not worrisome. Have the tuner who installed the suspension have a look at it before you head to the dealer.
Good luck.

It's nothing to worry about . Two days after my Pss10 was installed I was cruizing and the "PASM failure" light went on . It was diagnosed as a defective strut . In fact to test it they even re installed one of my Techart springs and the warning light did not illuminate . They had to send back that one strut and have it replaced . The only thing you can't do in the meantime is use sport mode .

If it's shock failure, you have Bilstein warranty for as long as your own your car. What you do is called Bilstein, they will send you new shock absorbers and charge your credit card a deposit (about US $1000 for the front 2 for example). When you receive the new ones, send Bilstein the old ones. They will inspect and determine what the problem is. If it's a failure from workmanship, etc., they will refund your amount. I did not ask how they determine that, but from my conversation with them, it seems they will go out of their way to please customers and will deny only from gross installation error or abuse, etc.

If that's what you would like to do, call the following number and ask for the person taking care of warranty replacement. They will ask for copy of receipt to confirm you purchase from an authorized dealer. I hope this is the case?

ThyssenKrupp Bilstein of America warrants its gas pressure shock absorbers against defects in workmanship and materials for as long as you, the original purchaser, own your car.

That's good news. It seems our TTs need some sort of tweaking once in awhile so i't good to know your problem is being solved. Sport mode ....ahhhh!

I couple of weekends ago I did some winter driving on a ice track and my suspension took a beating so I think I will follow your lead and have it checked out. And the lifetime warranty with Bilstein is reassuring - great company with excellent products.

noah677 is infamous around these parts
As a quick thing to try--disconnect the battery and after reconnecting the light will come on. Drive it for a few miles and see if it resets. Doing this certainly won't hurt anything and, at worst, it won't work.
