2010 pdk turbo

I would like to hear from those who have one on order or know anything.
I have been told it is coming...before January 2010.
It should have minor exterior changes, 500 horse, D.I. and PDK option.
knowledge anyone?

I was told no Turbo's at all for 2010.
Something tells me Porsche will sell an S to get rid of the left over parts and then release the new PDK 1-year after that.
I have seen the test fleet on the roads (pics), there are a bunch of photos of winter road testing floating around the net. SO we know a PDK exists, but with the current economic conditions, the changes to POrsches production and how a dealer inventories specifically the Turbo's, I would say this is not going to happen any time soon.

I believe they are getting rid of them spare parts now jz. I think that is what 09 is for. Since it is only a "mid cycle refresh...instead of a full overhaul. It all remains to be seen, I was somewhat assured that my car was comiing. I was hoping for January at least...but I was told it would be here sooner. Some of the overseas magazines are seemingly more accurate with this news. i.e. CAR magazine has been correct in the past about things that are now out. By the way, many of those recent test fleets are actually the 998 (supposedly being called 991) and those turbo vents are just decals! I believe carmagazine or motor authority had it right?...cant remember.
Do you love your 09 turbo...manual or auto?

There have actually been several other shots of turbo coupes/cabs with wetsump engines(by pic). So they are indeed tooled up to build these cars, I agree 09 is it for the curent turbo, no s this time.

I love it, and I had to have an 09. I plan on keeping it for a long time and Sharkwerks has already begun the mods. My fear on the new motor was the lack of mods, the lack of knowledge long term for reliability.

I agree the USA mags have no idea what is going on in the Euro car world, but give it 6 more months and they will all go out of business

It seems that all this speculating doesn't address the current economic situation. An S is easy money for Porsche, I would love to find a yellow 993TT S model.

We will all know soon enough, because a 2010 PDK Turbo should be available for order around June if its going to be made.

I was in Stuttgart yesterday and saw what appeared to be a 2010 pre-production Turbo (it had the side scoops of the turbo) with LED taillights and center lock wheels. However, I did not get a close enough look to see if it had PDK.
I'm kicking myself for not taking a pic.

I heard last week, Porsche is still in testing phases if and when they can rollout the PDK trans for the GT3 and turbo.
