Comments on Tubi exhaust
I am thinking of starting some mods with a Tubi exhaust and then a GIAC chip. I was also considering an AWE exhaust. Any comments on loudness, performance, drone etc. Has anyone heard both from inside and outside the car?

The Tubi is fairly quiet with no drone. I put the Tubi on when the car was new, and the exhaust seemed to sound better after 2000 miles of driving. Great construction fit and finish. Also, the fabspeed tips fit great. Enjoy.

I had the regular Tubi and decided to try the race version . I like it more by a HUGE margin. At low throttle it's actually deeper sounding and can even be quiet until one places pressure on the pedal . The more gas the more gowl and it can most defintely snarl with the most beautiful note . With no cats the power is also greatly improved .

Tubi is definitely a great sounding exhaust but I would recommend you try to hear some others in person as well. I ended up going with the Gen 2 FVD, I absolutely love it.....I found that choosing an exhaust was not as easy as I thought it would be, good luck.

I've had my Tubi for about a year and a half, sounds great and no drone. Definitely one of the best exhausts out there. OEM fit and finish, no issues whatsoever. I see that they are making them all single can style like the race version, the sound is supposed to be the same.
FWIW I had another exhaust on the car for 1 month before the Tubi, I don't give the Tubi a second thought. That's a good thing!

i just placed tubi headers, 200 cell high flow cats, and the tubi remoras. expensive but worth it! incredible exhaust note especially at higher revs as stated by another 6speeder. plus the system is a work of art; just beautiful to look at! (saw it while being unloaded from transport truck). i would also suggest ecu retune; you will know what i mean when you press the "sport" button. good luck and enjoy

5,000 miles on my Tubi - sounds better after it "breaks-in" after 1,000~2,000 miles. Perfect fit and sound.

Just had the Tubi installed on my 08 cab. The sound is awesome. Looking forward to hearing what it sounds like after the "break in". The workmanship fit and finish are excellent.

il nino, are you asking about the Tubi regular or the Race?

had tubi race headers test driven today by dealer service tech (manager); stated that i now have a "rocketship"! tech said that the sound and performance was out of this world. also stated that he had never driven anything that pulled so hard; compared it to a superbike! i had tubi inconel f1 race headers, 200 cell (tubi) high flow cats, and tubi remoras placed on my 09 997tt. also did GIAC ecu retune; it was a bit pricey but well worth the double takes you (looks) get on the streets! enjoy; best thing i've ever owned

Alex (or anyone who has switched from race to non race),
How does the race version sound differently from the Tubi non-race version?
Is it louder?
Is there more low frequency grunt, that deep gutteral sound?
I think the info might be helpful to OP.
