Are you aware that there is a 997 TT coming with most of what you mentioned? Do you think Porsche is going to diminish the brand by becoming a pseudo Ferrari with PDK and paddle shifts in everything????

That is not what Porsche is about and there are 911 models to satisfy everyone, but you will not find everything any one 911.

Likely the GT2 gets PDK before the GT3. Besides this it just a facelift, not a model year change. Name another car that undergoes even this many changes, especially among all different models (cayman, Base 911, TT, GT3, GT3 RS).

You wont find anyone that will make this many improvements to so many vehicles mid-production of a generation.

BTW Anyone notice the different front wheels on the RS? I love them, they look even better than the factory 110 spokes from the 996 Gen. which were up until now the best looking factory wheels IMO. But I like these better side by side with the old ten spokes.

This RS is the real deal, just look at the wider body on both front and rear. I see a keeper for me this time!

Are you sure about the wider front? The 997 Gt3 RS, 997tt, and 997 GT2 all had same frontal width as the narrow body 911.

i agree. i love porsches! (own 3 of them) the 930 turbo (slantnose) was my dream car back in college! i had an opportunity to purchase a gallardo spider but chose the tt instead; could not be any happier! i get compliments on the car all the time (color scheme a little different) just like tt owners on this board. i just wish they would shut up the GT-R, lp560-4 and scuderia. just my 2cents worth.

Looks like the wider front is just for the 997.2 RS!

I have no doubt about that, because the RS is the road version of the Cup S and RSR.
