Hi,

good to see stock versus stock alongside each other.

Great venue too, no traffic, no aircraft (i hope).

The language sounds very similiar to your neighbouring Thailand, how close is it?.

Rgds.

I may have not seen clearly but it also looked like he had only 1 person in his car vs. you with 2.

I have a GTR and yeah without rev braking, the car is slower off the line. So you'd have to do some rev braking especially when going up against a 911 Turbo. Not much but up to 2500K makes a huge difference comapred to it being idle. Or you can launch it with R mode on so you don't break anything . Otherwise when you step on the gas from a stand still at idle, you're gonna be slower. The GTR will gain at every gear shift but it will be too late. In the video, the 911TT was revving and let the clutch out. If he had it sitting on idle like the GTR and punched it, the results would be the similar or the GTR edging him out especially during the gear changes.

Hey, yes, sounds very similar, but nothing in common. there are very few words are shared. Very few. Anyway there were no aircraft, we ran our races on the main taxi way. Pretty safe to me anyway.

There were 2 people in the car for each races. But I am about 85kg.

Like I said, the double clutch is magic, it shifts way too fast for me to replicate with the 997TT. He did keep up once we got to 3rd all the way through. I believe with just an ECU would be an even bigger kill without me breaking anything.

but as you can see they could mod the GT-R as well, and it cheaper than the 997tt also works better(before 150mph a 700hp 997tt can't really get rid of a 600hp GTR in my race).Just because that DSG box.So the real solution to kill a GTR in any stage is the PDK 997TT.Once PDK 997tt released it will be a real fair race with the GTR.On both track / drag.I beleive the PDK 997tt will eat GTR easily.

I agree with you, just that the GTR has a bad reputation for breaking, If I were to own one, I wouldn't add any power to it. There is no point beating your friends on the track and limping home. This is one of the reasons why I did not get one.

Hi,

would love to see a video similiar to that on the M5 board from a rolling start from low speed. I wonder how the turbo tip would get on against the GTR, both building boost prior to brake release ?.

Rgds.
