Countdown--taking the TT plunge

All...

At 6pm EST I plan to purchase the 2009 TT ($135,490 MSRP for $116,200). I'm trading in my 2 month old 2006 C2S Cab.

I feel good about it, but goodness knows I'm apprehensive about the decision, only because it's just so much of a different beast in the fact that I'm buying a coupe, and I do love verts (but not in a TT).

Doing a cash transaction--makes the most financial sense in my situation.

Pls comment w/ pros or cons.

Else, I shall be back online with pics over the weekend (or not).

Cheers

Great to hear from you! Yes, Sewickley. It's Guards Red w/ Black interior. So you don't think I'll miss the Cab too much?

Indeed, I've already spoken to Phil about the tunes. I would love to hear your Tubi to ensure I want that over the Fabspeed. IMHO, an exhaust upgrade is a must on that car (not just performance, but more so for the sound). My C2S sounds awesome...the TT stock...meh.

I'm in FC. I'd love to meet & check out your ride. I'll drop you a PM with my email.

I've still not made my final decision. I could walk away today with the top down and an awkward grin on my face.

Oh, it's a 2006 and my purchase price on that was very good. In the grand scheme of things I'm not losing too much, but no doubt I'm painfully aware of the financial hit.

Phil is great! i saw that car it's "smokin"! i'm @ st. clair will wait for your PM we'll hook up! bought mine from Champion Porsche; Champion Motorsport did the tubi 200 cell race cats, Tubi Remora mufflers and they did the GIAC retune. sewickley did the Tubi inconel F1 race headers and some interior/exterior mods. power is @ 600hp and it sounds like a GT3 Cup car! Phil said i have a "rocket ship"! the sound is exhilarating! you also have to do suspension to handle the power increase (stock too soft IMO). i went with Champion H&R springs and sways; looks way cool and handling improved without ride sacrifice. good luck with the purchase you won't regret it. i had a boxster previous and looked @ a gallardo spider but went with the tt; best decision i've made hands down! (i was getting 100K off MSRP on the lambo! sign of the times;firesale!)
