Porsche Club GB drive [pics]

Had a fun day out yesterday on a Porche Club organized drive. We started at the Midlands Breakfast club held at RAF Cosford and headed into Wales.
Many thanks go to Gary who organized yet another fantastic drive! A few pics below (Gary I hope you don't mind copying a few of yours too)...
First stop was in Shropshire's Ironbridge:

The Longmynd is wide open bushland with passing places offering panoramic landscapes for miles.

Crossing over the Longmynd offers some great open spaces sometimes a little too open!

The view over the other side as you come back down

I managed 400 miles, 8 hours driving, and 22mpg average. Not bad.

As expected the Rosso Italian motor stole the show.

A few select pics to add to Gary's. My car started off spotless and by the end of it was just peppered with bugs. Another wash and polish tomorrow then!

Great Britain is a great place. I'm glad I had the chance to live there for 7 months in the early 70's. For a yank, it's like walking through a history book. The country side is magnificent.

Beautiful pictures! We lived in the U.K. (England, Surrey County) for 4 years back in the 80's. Absolutely loved it. I had a '85 Carrera Targa and belonged to PCGB also. It's a great place to own a P-car. All those country roads to enjoy and history around every bend. Even had a chance for a day out at Brand's Hatch race course during one of the club events.

JS1967 is infamous around these parts
Great pictures, looks like a day well spent. Must have been a very civilized drive based on your MPG.
Thanks for sharing.
