Never understood why people do this, I find it to be beyond ugly.

Nothing like brilliant metallic paint after a fresh wax + polish...

I really dig the music, it's so freaking terrible
Wraps are not for me, but I can see why someone would want one.
Great for marketing

Cheaper than a paint job and I guess it gives you some variety.

I think the trend will move from off beat clear coat colors to a variety of texture choices in the future . The (old school) middle age sentiment almost reminds me of rock and roll when it entered the music scene

Since I am 50 I also fall into the category where I would pass it up but I can accept that cars will evolve .

It gives the paint some protection, but this would be dependent on the type of film used and whether or not they used a coated vinyl.

Clear Bra - 8mils - 8.5 mils thick
Non-coated vinyl - 2 mils thick
Coated vinyl - 4 mils thick
