How many miles does your 997tt have ?

3500 miles in 10 months but I have been out of the country quite a bit. Only problem (6 months after taking delivery) was a loose positive battery cable connection that left me dead in the water. At least it was in my driveway. Had to use the jump procedure in the owner's manual that uses the fuse box connector, but it worked with no problem. Tightened up the battery clamp and everything was fine after that. No mods yet, but I'm getting close to doing a chip and exhaust. I love this car.

[QUOTEDoes anyone have experience on the maximum number of miles that a 3-year-old TT should have to have a decent resell value?][/QUOTE]
The general rule is 10K miles on a Porsche rendrs the first big depreciation hit . 50K and its a massive hit . Howeber the revent Turbo depreciation in the current economy is so rapid that i am inclined to say drive it .
My reluctance to drive it has more to do with pamper and preseving it over time and I see by the thread that most of the cars are low mileage . Perhaps when the thred grows we can take an average .

I began with less than 200 miles . I wanted the car to have peak performance right out of the gate. . Some express that they like to wait and then feel like they have a new car later on. What I leaned is that the mods improve and more choices lead to modded evolution process .

5,600 miles since april 07.
met a guy yesterday with a 2007 4S and he had 85,000 miles on it.
looked brand new and he swears its better then it was when new.
has had ZERO problems with his 4S.
Thinking seriously about doing the EVO reprogramming next week after the dealer lets me compare my car to one that will be completed next wednesday.
In FL with 93 octane gas they claim +70 HP to 550 hp.
Not bad for a $3,200 investment incl labor.

I've had my 2008 997TT for 13 months now and 6700 miles on it. The sad thing is that it is my DD, but I only have a 3 mile commute to work, and all I do anymore is work, so I don't get to drive near as often or much as I would like. Don't want to save the mileage for the next guy - I want to drive this car and enjoy every minute - I paid for it so I plan to enjoy it!!! I did get out today and opened her up - what a thrill - a rare sunny day in Seattle.
