Meteor Gray 997 Turbo with HRE rims...

Hey Guys, I am interested in purchasing HRE P40's for my meteor gray 997 turbo, but I am torn between two colors. I was thinking of flat black with a red lip or charcoal... Anybody have a meteor gray 997 turbo with the charcoal colored rims on them as I havnt seen one and it would make my decision much easier if I could..

here is a link of the meteor gray P40's, anyone can photoshop it on a meteor gray 997 turbo with red lip and or matte black P40's with red lip?

https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...-got-p40s.html

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks...

There's a thread on rennlist that will answer your question.
I have gunmetal colored rims on my Meteor car, it looks pretty good, although the monochromatic look is an aquired taste. It reminds me of a Messerschmitt or something.

P40s would look really good- and with the rep pin stripe. Do you have ceramics or steel brakes? Hopefully ceramics otherwise that pin stripe will get pretty dirty and fast...

My vote is charcoal without red stripe, with center caps with colored Porsche crest (Critical -- replace HRE center cap! ). I think this will look tremendous in a meteor gray Turbo. If you have yellow brake, then IMO this package actually cause hearts to flutter. LOL

Good luck. You are going to love this wheel, a classic design destined to be HRE's all time best seller. Even after 1 year, I still find myself stepping back to look at the wheels every now and then when I park my Turbo.
