...because my C63 AMG is now moot.

With my new AWE 650 package, I no longer get a speed rush from even my KLEEMANN tuned C63. So now my C63 is well, just a regular C-class in comparrison.

As I mentioned in my prior post, I stopped by my MB dealer and had my sales rep drive the TT. Later in the evening I received an email from my MB rep with a phenominal deal on a brand new S63 AMG, with a tremendous trade-in on my C63.

Now I have a roaring road rocket in the TT, and soon-to-be luxury sport sedan. 2 fine complements I believe.

So although AWE gave me an S63 AMG, I'm still pissed! Somehow I'll have to explain this to my wife, and I'll probably be sleeping on the couch for a while. Though with the Pens in the finals...not a bad thing I guess.

 

Why don't you take S65 AMG?
With a few mods you can get 700HP.

 

That's the beauty of it. Not necessary because of how much performance I'm getting from my AWE 650 TT. The 63 engine is more than enough power, and I'm going for luxury sport sedan, not monster luxury sport sedan.

Maybe that's the approach to my wife--"hey, I'm saving so much money over an S65 by having upgraded my Porsche with AWE's 650 package". That's the best I've got so far, and no doubt it's not good enough to get me off the couch.

S63 can't get that big power but much more suitable for everyday driving than S65.
Less fuel cost,lighter weight,7speed sportstronic trans(s65 come with 5speed old automatic)you may even try it on the track.It gonne be a pain to drive a 700hp/1000nm/5000lbs S65 on a track or go fast on some hillside road but with S63 - You could have a try !!

 

The 65 AMG is the true animal in AMG famely

 

The AWE 750R kit made my 993tt feel like a slug. My wife's CLK550 felt like it only ran in reverse. I ended up having to upgrade her to an 08 Cayenne TT and dropping a K24 upgrade on my 993tt. AWE cost me alot of $$!!
