A day in paradise: Watching my Cargraphic Turbo tuned by GIAC
#181
You might want to print my curve above and use it to graph your Engine Load numbers - I think it is easier to see than the automated graph generation. Graphing Durametric parameters for me is the key because it allows us to see the big picture, primarily the overall shape of the torque (engine load) curve. As important as, if not more so than, just looking at max gain, too frequently what is done on this forum (my horsepower gain is such and such). Max horsepower gain is but a tiny slice of the overall picture at one rpm, and has less to do with 99% of our driving than overall engine load curve.
Below is another Durametric graph that might be of interest to you, this time of boost (black curve) vs. engine load (red curve). BTW, for those curious, the graph below is of the stock boost curve in sport mode (not GIAC's), and you could see that although Porsche's spec indicates 17.4 psi in Sport mode, measured boost per Durametric is 19.4.

Quick question.....my 2007tt was sent to GMG racing in 2010. It had everything but turbos done. The GIAC tune is also from 2010. I still have the flash loader and am wondering if anything has been updated in the tune since then and if so, who would I contact to get a price for the update?
