ECU bootstrapping
I really loved your tech article 2009 997S SharkWerks Project Car: Software Tuning. I would love to see much more detail but I guess it is propriety info. I would love to see you take a crack at the Aston Martin. I feel lonely over there, too many Proper Gentlemen. If someone could develop a system to reflash their Spanish Oak ECU (MPC565 based CPU) I'd tryto get someone to build a custom twin turbo system and truly get some bite with the bark! I expect that once successfully bootstrapped, the maps will look like some ford product. Any suggestions?fficeffice" /><O></O>

very informative, very nice.
but I wont dare to remove my ecu as long as there is the "flashing via obd port".
dont want to think of dropping the ecu during transport............
but very nice write up.

You sound like a broken record. Give it a rest bud. This thread is about ECU removal. Of course nobody wants to drop their ecu of have it damaged during transport. You do a good job at stating the obvious.
