997tt vs Gtr stock

Guyz, has any one of you had a go with a Gtr both being stock? I have always wondered what the outcome would be, just curious. Thanks.

Going by the data, from a dig it could be really close. From a roll the DCT in the Nissan will probably give it the edge.

Oh yeah, the GT-R will beat it by 30 seconds at the 'Ring! but only 2 or so at Laguna Seca....

I have 60-130 data for both, and the 997TT is a significantly quicker car from a roll. From a dig it could go either way.

Handling goes to the GT-R.

He wasn't asking what people thought of it's looks. He's asking if anyone knows how the two cars compare performance wise.

when stock I got pulled by one from idle up to 70 or so when I let off. However same car 60mph onwards I pulled on it, slightly. Essentially they are animals from a launch and on par with the TT from the move but the higher the speed = advantage Porsche. Your results may vary.

From 0, 997 Turbo will eat it alive and will not look back... I raced it on an empty airfield.

Good stuff guyz. Yea I have been told that from a roll on the porsche will edge out as the speed passes. Just wanted to verify that. Thanks for your time everyone.

There is at least a 6-8 second difference to 300 kph depending on the conditions.

You had a really amazing launch on those videos. I'm not sure all of us can duplicate it on a manual transmission. And in case I hadn't said it...kudos for using an abandoned airstrip, and helmets.

That's right, I should have looked - the 997 TT should always trap a bit higher than the GT-R.
