FVD titanium exhaust 997 Turbo

This is a titanium system for the 997 GT2. How do you think a system similar to this would sound on a 997 Turbo Cab? Does anybody have single tips on their 997 Turbo? Pictures please..

if that Ti exhaust takes full advantage of the alloy for lightness with thin walls etc. you are in for a hell of a loud drone in a cab. I would highly recommend auditioning a Ti exhaust unless you dont mind the drone / loudness.

Im not sure this exhaust is loud, just saying that Ti typically is thinner walled and much louder vs. stainless more often than not. Ive ran Ti exhausts in my Evo and promptly removed them (Greddy Ti), fantastic piece but the drone was terrible.

I'm not sure what the factory muffler weighs?

The FVD titanium system for the TT will have stainless cats and weigh 26 lbs. The all titanium one is only 1 lb lighter and is significantly more expensive. I'm supposed to get more information tomorrow.

Good find on the pictures! I was afraid single round tips wouldn't look right on the TT, and they don't.

We have 2 Titanium systems available for the 997TT.

First is our part number BES 997 152 41T. Currently on sale for $ 9,689.00
It normally retails for$11,399

Our system differs to others on the market in 4 important ways.

1. The titanium tolerates 1,000 degree celcius temperatures, this is a must as lesser grade titanium oxidizes with high heat and becomes extremely brittle and will crack eventually.

2. Our system also has 4 chambers to combat resonance. Titanium has thinner walls than stainless and drone or resonance can be an issue. Our system has no drone at all.

3. Our system can be custom ordered for decibels and tips.

Hi Rhonda - I had been evaluating exhausts for two weeks and there are many great ones for my 997.2 PDK but yours is the one I selected after a lot of thought to go on my car . I liked the fact its a full exhaust . My tuner called you today.

It's going on with damptronics , evomsit software , 5MM spacers and I am leaving the stock wheels (i like them) a few interior upgrades (painted seat backs and console) .

Can you please post the info on the 997.2 in the 997 section ? the large photos of the exhaust look fantastic .

I look forward to experiencing your product.
