hello 6speeders
anyone on the forum running HRE Comp 90 wheels? please reply with pros/cons. pix will be greatly appreciated. i was informed that with this wheel series, "spacer" are not needed and that the set-up (tire/wheel) will sit flush in the wheel "well". i'm interested in purchasing these with the center spokes "painted" with polished chrome surround also interested in approx. cost for a set TIA

Well I would be more than Happy to help you out with that.
HRE makes the lightest Competition 3 piece wheels on the market. 20x11 weights just under 23 pounds.
The HRE comps are built with track in mind. The Comps reduce the unsprung weight on each corner over fact by 5-6 pounds per wheel. That is a great decrease in weight.
The HRE wheels (all of them) are built 100% custom tailored to the car. NO spacers needed. NO centering rings. And the wheels are built to fit flush with the fenders.
All HRE comps are built with Standard Titanium Fasteners. Nothing is compromised, no expense sparred when making Comps.
great looking wheels, thanx for pix! :0) looking into Comp 90 has more spokes, going for that old school "honeycomb" look. gonna powder coat the center spokes "guards red" in a high gloss finish with polished chrome surround. you have seen pix of my car, what do you think? TIA

I did see your car at the PVGP. That "crazy color combo" you mention above would actually look quite stunning on your car.
now that's what i'm talking about! HOT!!!! can you photoshop colored porsche emblem with "red" background and one with just the black porsche emblem "outline" with "red" background. THANX!

FYI
If you want to do a guards red it will have to be painted on, you can order a poweder coat color close to guards red but you will not be able to 100% match it. Powdercoating is great because its a million times more durable than paint so unless the car is a weekend warrior I would suggest having them powdercoated.
