Stock BRVs are found on many applications with higher horsepower. It should not cause your symptoms at high temperatures and humidity, and not so in lower temperatures. They do not seem to be prone to failure like the diverter valves on the 996TT. Your issue sounds more related to your tune. Collect some data...find out what IATs your engine is seeing...what is your AFR? Talk to the guys that did your programming.
I am not going to say a whole a lot about this, Softronic has a product but not for me and I would like to keep it at just that. Tune already been removed off my ECU as of this morning. I am going a different route. Dan has been very supportive in offering assistance but I am looking at a different solution and I will share with everyone once I am done.

I used to live 40 miles North of beirut right on the water, 50 yards away from the wave splash... Beautiful places.

I've been driving hard on the track in 107F and no problems at all, even with the 620 HP. I have AWE intercoolers - they are fantastic.
There may be a few other factors in play but the larger ICs definitely are a bonus (you will need an ECU reflash).

Sounds like mine when I fouled the plugs, PES tune. Changed the plugs now it runs great.
Did you scan it with a obd2 port tool, any codes?

I hear ya. I went through everything and re-flashed the car, all symptoms are gone and car is about 300% better. I am still going to replace the plugs as the ones i have in there now are Iridium and those can run hot knowing that they are colder than stock, I am going with Denso IP20 (Double Platinum) they will hold fine and work better with the amount of HP I got on there. Once I am finished i will be sure to post a complete review.

No misfire codes, only one under boost code but that was due to a flimsy hoes that got replaced with a custom fitted one and finally the fault was gone. currently I am just going over everything, drove the car today pretty hard, did not act up at all, it was smooth all over the RPM range, power was on all the way IT JUST FELT GOOD!
I will post some more updates next week, i have one more tweak on there and it will be as perfect as you can get a 997TT by far.

Cool Issues all gone

So, New flash, No more issues!

I drove the car yesterday, it was 102 degrees in the hills of north west Austin took some pretty nice and curvy back roads... WOW!
No hiccups, no waiting to feel the power or build boost, my car is transformed from acting up to kicking ***!
I was hitting 100+ on some roads and with tuning in the Motons properly with the help of a great guy who aligned and corner balanced my car along with the feedback from Moton over the phone I think I have a beast and ready to move on to other mods.
I will be posting a complete review of before and after in the next couple of days.

Thank you all for your participation and helping me figure this out and a big thank you to EVOMS, Todd was very helpful in resolving all the issues i was dealing with for 4.5 months in less than 48 hours.

Me too. I got tired of leaving my car at the shop on a lift for days at a time chasing issues that did not exist... So I took the issue on from a different direction and figured out, in agreeing with what every person i know told me, IT WAS THE TUNE; and it was in deed.

The Tune... Softronic was asked only twice on this file and the first time it was stated that the car did not boost properly. This was after it was released by Vivid with no issues expressed to us . Vivid sent a cable to you as all told you it was the fuel... Well there was no issues with the fuel. Softronic asked if the VTG's had been calibrated and they had not been. The car was driven by you to a dealer and they had been calibrated. The next email we had been copied on from you was it was all good and running great. A month or so later a blip now existed at 5k or so and now the experts or other people said it was the Timing. Vivid offered to ship the car to them to check or send you a cable to data log it for Softronic to look at. This was to be at no expense to you.
This was not to your liking and you would be going to stock, ok. Emails sent had been it was being taken apart and put back to stock yet this was not the case. The car is not at stock and Softronic never was asked or found an issue with the tune. You did though take the car apart and replace the plugs and look at all the parts???

This is all the info I have on this. The same flashes have been used on many cars with no issues. Perhaps you had an issue however it was never logged or shown to us. Softronic cant fix what we either do not know about or have not been properly informed on. Software does not change and 50 cars with the same flash all running fine would point to one that isn't . Why wouldn't this one car run as all the others? Perhaps logging would have shown...

We have never talked and you could have always called... I'm glad you are happy now as we thought you had been before also.

Best,
Scott

The car still has all the parts that Vivid installed on it, nothing wrong was found with his hardware the only issue i had was your tune. I tried "documented" more than 10 times trying to get you to understand that I had a problem... at this point it does not matter what happened but the fact was the tune that you provided was not proper for my vehicle. If you read the emails sent to you will find very specific issues on how the car was acting up. the car drove fine when i took delivery as i was not supposed to "GET ON IT" so how was i supposed to know? this was my first tune. I got to TX and had nothing but problems. all i was reported about you was:" Scott said his software is fine, something has got to be wrong with your car..." I would rather leave it here, as you said i am happy with my car now. The VTG's should have been calibrated, the hoses should have been the correct ones and properly fitted, the spark plugs are not as good as we could have gone on this, who in their right mind would recommend Iridium plugs on a modded car with supposedly 700 HP? I am not going to play the blame game Scott but I have to admit that When Vivid offered to pick up my car from Austin to repair it I refused because he was going to have you fix the tune, the tune should have been proper from day 1, I did not drive all the way from TX to have do deal with issues.

Thank you for your reply, I wish you all the luck with your tuning and the future of your program.
