so the car doesn't have a US vin #? i'm very surprised he admitted to putting up another vin on ebay. you should ask him if a friend of yours can come by and inspect the car lol

Also, I'd be wary of the legality... JDM and US-spec Supras are identical except for a few minor details such as injectors and turbo blades, yet you are NOT allowed to import a JDM Supra to the USA. You can't register it.

 

ask for a penny pic... have him put dollar on the hood and take a picture of the car (even a crappy one)...

if he can't or won't then what more do you need?
