do you have an exhaust already with high flow cats? if not do that first (v580 package).

I do not have a set of headers installed on my 997 TT at this time but I do have the EVOMS tune and I love it. I have a lot of modifications and have a set up with the EVT700 flash.
The BMC filter is also a good thing if you do not want to go with an aftermarket intake as a replacement you are really not going to make hardly any difference unless you are looking for sound. There is a great thread on here about headers and their effect on a stock or tuned cars.
My car has a stock feel to it until you hit it. even with no boost, it is a bit more alive. When you hit it, you start building boost from very low RPM's and you will see it maxing out before you reach 4100 RPM, from my experience this is the best software out there.
There are other tuners on here that will give you their opinions as well. Good luck.

As some others mentioned, I would do a full exhaust first, if you have not already. You will see much bigger benefits from high flow cats and muffler at this stage.

If you need help sourcing a good exhaust system, let me know. I have a good sale on Cargraphic running right now.

Before you make a decision. Check out this thread.

There is some informative info in there and tech info on what we have done with our headers.

All the headers really do about the same for performance. Here is a dyno of our Agency Power headers on a 997TT -

Does anybody out there re-do stock headers. In other words clean up and polish the internal welds, port match, etc?

Dan,

I guess all headers are not created equal as you say.......your headers are the record holders with nearly 100whp and 100wtq at 5500 rpm.WTF!!You don't really believe this do you?Or expect others on here to be so clueless as to believe this dyno graph? Please tell me you loaded the wrong graph or something.
