I'd say 997 Gt2, no brainer.
It is much better than 996GT2 in every way. It is expensive though.
996 Gt2 is not that great at all, probably the worst among all gt2s. That's why they are so cheap to buy right now. It is not a steal even for the low prieces on used 996 GT2. It is waste of money!
Even a moded 996 turbo would be a much better choice than 996GT2.
You always get what you paid for.
