We are going to see how the stock tip will handle the power. We have a "plan b" transmission in the works.

Is there even a noticable difference with the addition 0.2 liters of displacement? Seems marginal at best.

I would like to keep this thread going and on topic...if you have reasonable questions/comments please do so...if you wish to make negative comments or take this thread off topic start your own thread...this is not one vendor/tuner versus any other vendor/tuner or engine builder..it is one sponsor displaying their work...take it or leave it but let it happen please..thanks

I tried...some people just won't let go...if this was a build from scratch motor I would agree..all the parts should be chosen to work together without any additional machine work....real world, and we don't know, those could be customer supplied parts...the answer was given in the other thread and that is that the steel valves worked with this setup and the Ti didn't...the engine will not be a high rev motor so the customer decided to go with the steel...case closed...who cares about lash caps as they are not being used...as far as the pistons are concerned they may have already been coated or were originally for a different application and needed more relief for this cam/head setup...so what...I don't think because a tuner/engine builder/sponsor makes a post on this forum showing some work they have to address every little detail with technical nabobs who may or may not have an agenda....this is not helpful and is exactly what discourages good tuners/builders from posting their work on this forum....closed again
