#31
Another video from tonight. Just a short drive. More will follow. Also attached is a dyno graph from today. It shows a stock 997TT, our EVT850 and This engine. We are going to post the final numbers after we complete the tuning. Thanks!

Todd, very nice. Looks like around 600 AWTQ at 4K rpms or so from 35s....why so laggy. Seriously though, those turbos seem very responsive for a big unit, it looks like the whole package works well together. Congrats

Interesting contrasting your "short drive" road testing vid with for example what Alois Ruf does with his "short drives" on newly built cars - he takes them down the road and maxes them out to 2XXmph - Oh to have the Autobahn......
#35
whats your point again ? that this would somke Ruf's flagship ? lol we know.

Have any RUF cars spent any time drag racing, roll racing, or hit mile records? I don't think so. It would be embarassing. If stock or stock-like cars are what you are after, try another forum....

Come on guys...let's keep this thread happy and on topic.
The bottom line is that we ALL should be happy that tuners like EVOMS and RUF, and every other tuner for that matter exist, whether they're "autobahn approved" or not. They continue to push the envelop of what can be done with these cars. All to provide the end users with a better, stronger, faster, more reliable product.
Let's not start another pissing match about who's better then who. Let's just thank EVOMS for not only taking the time and spending the money to embark on a project like this, but for sharing the details with all of us along the way!! It's rare that tuners will share intimate details of their very exclusive projects with the public, so kudos to Todd and the crew for keeping us all in the loop.

DIN, this car is right in your backyard. I'm willing to guess that the owner has spent some time over on the mainland tearing up the autobahn with it at some point in time.

Is this soley a drag racing forum or are people interested in following Porsche's philosophy as well as the "insane" stuff

I think that is the only one in Europe ? That is not a good example, it dynoed at 727hp on a Mustang yet when it was tested in another mag its performance was worth about ~620hp
60-160mph (starting in 2nd) in 16.2s
Something amiss with that car and the owner sold it on a few months ago....
BTW agree with you about EVO sharing all the builds, makes great reading

BTW, I have driven on the autobahn and in a 997TT Also, this video that we posted was just a teazer video and it was not anything worth bragging about. This car will be out being pushed to the limits at 200 + mph soon - as well as on the road course, the drag strip and around town
