2010 TT: delivery date, price break

Anyone else on here placed an order for gen. 2 tt? Just want to check on build/deliver date. Any price break. Or the standard hard to get one, porsche cut production. I do noticed all the dealers have much fewer cars now.

The US dealers are waiting for second half fiscal year 2010 (Feb-July) allocations from PCNA. Should be any day. You won't be able to find an open allocation before Feb. If you don't want to spec one, you'll be able to get one in about a month when they arrive but your choices will be limited (some dealers have one or two coming that aren't spoken for yet). Regarding discounts, production is really being held back. I think most dealers are going to be selling this at MSRP in the early days. I was able to get a little deal on my order.

Thanks, talked to one dealer today, he has two coming in soon, not yet spoken for. For this kind of $. I rather specs it to the exact specs, and wait as I am not in a hurry for one. In this kind of economy, i don’t think there will be a line out the door for any $100K + cars. Can’t wait to see one in person.

The dealer down here said they didn't have any unspoken for cars and were only taking orders now for delivery in March/April timeframe.

Heck, I just bought my first Porsche 2 months ago ('07 997TT RUF) so I can wait awhile before I even consider an '10!

I would like to try out the new PDK with the paddles though.
