The harder a car is to control, the MORE important it is to use all of the track. And bouncing had nothing to do with control as the bumps were on straight portions, not in the turns. I also didn't see much steering wheel correction for any of them to be hard to control.

With respect, are you suggesting that the Autocar video is a set-up?

There are literally dozens of other independent reviews which come to the same conclusion about the Nissan, and whilst I am neither motoring journalist nor professional racing driver my time on road and track with the car only reinforces what has been said.

The knock-out punch is when the notoriously pro-Porsche German motoring press reach the same conclusions. I expect the 998 to be something really special, because I'm sure Porsche are hurting over this ...
