Bilstein Coilovers

Bilstein Coilovers
After reading many coilover threads, I got confused between the Bilstein B-16 PSS10 and B-16 PSS Damptronics. The attached link to the Bilstein website shows the damptroncs work with the cars PASM, but it appears that the PSS10's may not work with PASM, and instead have a 10 way adjustment? I do want to keep the PASM functionality, and am in the process of evaluating suspension upgrades, but wanted to make sure I understand the differences. I was reading a recent thread started by ruf_turbo and I believe my assumption above is correct, but wanted to confirm. What are the advantages of the PSS10's over the damptronics?
Thanks guys, and Happy Holidays

B16 PSS10: Has 10 settings for compression and rebound dampening. You adjust by the **** on the coilover itself, underneath car, not from inside ****pit. No one on these forums have used this to my knowledge. The compression and rebound settings are "coupled" btw; they are not adjusted independently of each other.
B16 Damptronic: PASM compatible. The dampening settings are changed by ****pit PASM button: Normal and Firm. In addition, supposedly dampening force adjusts per road surface, driving style, etc.
No one knows how Normal and Firm correlate with the 10 settings of the PSS10. Unless there are specific reasons to use PSS10, I would suggest you stay with this.
A number of forum vendors sell this at excellent price: AWE tuning, Vivid Racing, Tirerack, etc. They should be able to guide you to buy the correct system.
This is a no brainer upgrade, the most important upgrade to the soft stock Turbo IMO. It will transform the car, but also, don't forget to change alignment settings too (front negative camber and front toe out) -- check thread in my signature. Happy Holidays and Happy motoring!

If you dont plan on adjusting the car the damptronics are the way to go.
With the PSS10s you get more adjustment but I have to adjust them on my dads car when we goto the track and it gets annoying.
The non-stiff setting on the damptronics is about a 6 anyway, so its relatively stiff. The stiffer setting I dont use except on really smooth roads or on the track, which in NY we dont have too many of.
