IPD or Agency Power

IPD or Agency Power
Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum, but I've been searching around here for quite a while. Anyways, I have a question hopefully some of you guys can answer.
I have a 2007 Porsche Turbo and I want to do a plenum/tb upgrade. I'm going to be doing larger turbos, intercoolers, the whole works in a couple of months as well. As for the plenum/tb, I've heard great things about the Agency Power setup as well as the IPD. IPD claims around 28+ hp and 30+ torque on a stock turbo, and agency power is claming 46+ hp and 60+ torque on a turbo with turbos, intercoolers, flash tune, etc. This is where I'm kind of torn between which kit. The IPD is a bit more expensive but it seems that a lot of Porsche owners who do this upgrade go for the IPD.
Also, IPD has a competition throttle body that is 82mm, compared to the 78mm from Agency, but if I put a larger diameter TB, will this kill my low end and cause some turbo lag? Or will I be fine with it until I do all the other upgrades?
If anyone can give me any input to help me with my decision I would appreciate it. Thank you!

We currently have both the 82mm competition and the 75mm regular version IPD plenums in stock. If you are planning on keeping your stock turbos I would use the 75mm IPD plenum and call it aday. If you plan on upgrading your Turbos in the near future, I would recommend going with the 82mm Competition version and combining it with the GT3 cup car throttle body and EVOMSit tune for the following upgrade. This will certainly enable you to squeeze out a few more ponies =) We have done both and the customers have always been stoked with the gains.

Our Agency Power unit is newer, power proven, and half the cost. Plus I offer a 100% money back guarantee. No extra tuning required. Bolt on and go!

Sure thing, you can also view the link here - http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/a...9-p-79632.html
Since the engine works off pulses, once through the throttle body, it really does not matter if it is a Y or a T shape. Everything leading up to your throttle body and the diameter of the throttle body itself is your restriction.

Click the product link in my post above, most explained there. But just so you know, the throttle body is bigger diameter then stock with a bigger inlet to the Tpipe. The sides of the Tpipe must be kept the same diameter of stock to fit to the factory intake manifolds. Our plenum kit is actually the same overall diameter from throttle body to sides.

As I remember I have 57mm cooler intake, 60mm cooler outlet and Y pipe is 65mm and further stock throttle....

some answers just disipired.....
but I think Dan is right that bigger throttle need ecu tuning, because it's much larger...
I remember my ex gt2 was running with big throttle from cayenne or gt3.
during driving there was shaking sometimes, so I drive with my ecu guy and he was changing some parametrs real time and after few minutes there was no shaking so I asked what it was? he said ecu didn't noticed that we are running with bigger throttle

Not trying to step on anyones toes but it's hard for me to believe that a T plenum will flow equally with the y plenum. We can use h2o for example and pore it down the T pipe then do the same with the Y pipe. The water would eventually be stopped when it hits the dead end of a T. As more water is being pored into the T it will eventually start moving again. IT'S COMMON SENSE . If the theory works why would porsche make a y pipe instead of a T pipe?? just look at your y pipe where it joins together before the throttle body. a T would be be easier to joint saving time n $$$.I think the Y shape would explain itself.

The engine works off pulses, so once it is behind the throttle body, does not matter if it is a T or a Y. Does not matter to me really, we have our design with proven results, and others have theirs.
