What level was the engine oil in the on board computer before you added engine oil?
It would be hard to say what is leaking untill it is on a lift for inspection but with error message from TCM to instrument cluster, it could well be a trans leakage/internal failure, color of fluid should be a goldish when clean and fresh. If there is any trans damage, the fluid could certainly turn dark gold or even black plus leaking fluids will mix with road debris and change the color slightly. It could also be coincidence that you have a leakage of some fluid while having a TCM problem- you did say the TCM was upgraded yes? Who did the TCM upgrade?
Get the car to your dealer or prefered independant (have it towed via flatbed if the trans is in safety mode- no reason to risk further damage)

I had a similar problem, the oil was coming from the gearbox where it connects with the transfer box, there was no replacing part from Porsche or Merc so we changed the whole trany luckily it was still under warranty.
After that i had the TCU flashed but no problems from that.
After me there were another 3-4 cases of 996+997 tiptronics with the same problem and all had to replace the Gearbox. Some of them send their gearbox to a German company which rebuilds everything in it and make it strong enough to handle much more power and torque
