Sorry I missed you. I took John to Colorado for a quick snowmobiling trip before the mad dash to complete 5 cars before Texas. Did Ian or Rod show you around?

EVOMS 997.2TT Exhaust Headers

Today we finished the production of our ClubSport headers which were designed exclusively for the 997.2TT. We will be testing them in the next few days to see if they add any power gains over the stock headers. More details and results will follow.

Todd, thanks for taking the time to share your findings. I am beginning to think that Porsche has concentrated very hard on producing a headline grabbing 0-100kph/0-200kph league leader (for obvious reasons) and the resulting drop off in the 200-300kph performance through heat is the side effect of the immense 0-200kph performance (actually 0-160mph as you showed)......makes sense.
Really look forward to your Texas testing
BTW. You may have seen, 9ff and Techart have both announced ~640hp kits for the 997tt.2 with the 9ff one being with the stock turbos IIRC !!

No problem Since most of these cars make their way to the USA, it makes sense. It is very rare that one of these cars will see over 200 KPH here. More details to follow after Texas.

I think it was Chris Parvin that showed me around. You got some wrenching to do before coming to TX. It looked like everything was engine-out in the shop

I think you are right, we have some work to do. The only car that still had an engine in it was the 997.2TT. We have 4 engines that are apart now that need to be assembled, installed and tuned in 22 days We will be burning the midnight oil for the next few weeks to get it all done.

After reading all 12 pages, I can only say thank you for sharing the step by step experiences. Please keep going. I'm very interested to see what a stock-internals 997.2TT can pump out.

Which car? We are bring 4 cars that should push well over 220. Our goal is to surpass our previous 231 MPH run and to beat our 0-300 KM time of 14.95 seconds. We will see

i know u was on a project building a 4.2ltr so if u goin to bring this car to the TX mile this will be a surprise for all of us and if this car is running in the TX mile what numbers are u expecting from it ?
will u guys be able to run against the TT gallardo's ?
that's a question to be honest always pup in to mind ... i know its not a battle and u guys are one of the best tuners around thats why ur fans always ask allot ..
im not only a fan im a customer as well ..

im not only a fan im a customer as well ..
I personally dont think the porsche aerodynamic or engine displacement could come any close to them gallardo's .. there is no way you could beat that 5.2 litre displacement nor lambo's aerodynamic look when it comes to long pulls .. Once again no replacement for Displacement Period
