997.2tt Tail Wing
#18
Of course I was more interested in the wing but the front spoiler looked the same except it was painted and the 2 horizontal vanes in the air dam were silver colored. That looked a little strange on a dark blue car.

We have spoiler for 997TT similar to TA type I. Here are some pics of customer's car. It was CF finish but customer paint it white to match his white TT. It goes up and down like OEM spoiler. We have both glossy and dry CF finish available instock. Price start from $1100. PM me for special 6speed pricing!

Fit and finish is impeccable
Quality of the Rottecarbon.com wing is perfect. No fitment issues whatsoever.
I've always had factory aerokits on my past few Porsches, 993, 996TT and 997 4S. For the 997TT, I was going to go aerokit, but this wing looks better, and the quality....for the money, it can't be beat.
$1100 is a steal
The carbon finish is perfect, but I just wanted it white.

Where's the best place to purchase that Ruf wing?
[quote=bbywu;2713710]Thank you for the compliment. The wing is in a fixed position, so I asked Ruf to change the console panel to remove the spoiler deploy button (console part is from the GT3.) Something to consider if you switch to a fixed wing and don't want a dead button.

The wing is not available separately...it is only available with the rear decklid, and only from Ruf. I do not know of anyone that produces a replica.
RAC in Dallas used to be the exclusive distributor for Ruf products and conversions...they have announced a few weeks ago that they will no longer carry the Ruf brand.
I have heard that a group in Michigan has picked up the Ruf label...you can visit them at http://www.rufauto.us/ruf/

QUIK911 has the fixed OEM aerokit wing. Looks GREAT. I assume he bought it separately since he doesn't have any of the other factory aero bits on his car.
ROTEC looks like a good and less expensive option. Although it is more akin to the Techart Type I wing which retains the hydraulic function.

Thats a really great look evoviiiyou....and OE clean too. P has done a really nice job particularly with that rear spoiler. Mix it up with a tech front lip and a set of gt2 side skirts and that would pretty well do it for me. Hmmm..food for thought.
