LED standing light question

Hi!

Finally pulled the trigger on a 2007 997 TT gt-silver.

Already I have a question. I cannot get the LED standing lights to shine at all. I have set the bixenons to be constantly on as it necessary here in FInland, but the standing lights only light up orange when I use the blinkers. Is there a way to get the xenons and leds to shine at the same time, in fact can you get them to light up at all, or is that a facelift/aftermarket option? The manual and the PCM manual dont help.

It is after market products like TA or Vivid Racing has something for you. You should talk to Timo at Auto Carrera here in Helsinki. The LED's are for turning signal only and at the end there is one small light for parking lights. Stock turbo does not have the LED line of lights for parking not driving lights as Panamera.

Did you by the way buy the EVT750 turbo that was for sale here in Helsinki?

Thanks for the info. I thought this was the case. The would look really nice with daylight running leds. Have to ask for it.

No this is not that one, this is a stock turbo...

I suggest, no I demand that you tune your turbo. I guarantee it will be a new car after little work put into it. If you want to know more of mine or even see and here it send me a pm and let's meet.

I have Techart stage I and TA race exhaust, larger wheels, Fabspeed tips and little bit other nice to have things. I really like mine. It's dead fast off the line and still everyday ride. Just what I want!

Now that I buried the idea of getting 2010, I think I'll upgrade mine to stage II. That includes new turbos as well as new intercoolers. Still thinking about it...

is yours tip or manual?

The problem for me is that I have Porsche Approved guarantee and I dont want to void this. Its a tiptronic. I am sure the mods make it into a whole new car, but so far the only changes I am considering is the LED daylights upgrade and maybe the quad exhaust tips.

The quad tips look good on your car. Do you also have the the LED upgrade? I will send you pm later, it would be nice to see those live. I also suspect they dont affect the guarantee.

Porsche has 2 year guarantee unless you were given additional year, your guarantee voided 2009. Once you talk to Timo at Auto Carrera you see that there is absolutely nothing to be worried about. I did mine a year ago. Zero issues and most help I have ever received by a dealer. TA has also guarantee regarding their products, so you should be covered quite well. I'm just saying that do it! You will never regret it. The response, feel, quickness and sportscarship you get will be worth the money!

I do not have the front LED conversion, yet. You have a couple of options where to go. You can get TA front LED's, you can get the whole TA front bumper (GT street), you can get conversion from Vivid Racing or SpeedArt (both of which are probably not E1 approved).

I just ordered LED light in the rear (2010 brake lights that is). Getting the parts and all installed before end of April. Just ready for the summer

My quad tips are Fabspeed. Got them through Dan at Vivid Racing.

It's around $1000 (). SpeedArt I don't know. They all seem to function little differently...

The Porsche Approved guarantee is extendable every 1-2 years up to 9 years after first registration.

It will be nice to see the difference between a tuned and stock car...

Our LED lights work and look great, but we still have a issue with the warning light coming on the dash

Does the last light in the row light as well. It does look in the video that it doesn't?
