Bottom line guys.....seat of the pants wise will I miss the punch of the 996 with the K24/18G (on CA 91 Octane) and want to go through this aftermarket song and dance again with a '07 - '08' 997? Also, suspension? Currently enjoying a set of PSS10 that made a world of difference over stock.

Would like to think that the performance and ride characteristics upgrade to a stock 997 will be enough & also the thought of not jeopardizing a factory warranty quite alluring.

Obviously a very subjective query so keen to hear from those of you that have made this switch.

All thoughts most appreciated.

Cheers,
J

stock 997TT suspension is crap. guaranteed you will get the mod bug with the new one especially coming from a 996 w/ mods....you already know how much there is to gain.

Yes gmoney.......in retrospect rather a rhetorical post.
I imagine I'm looking at suspension, exhaust & flash at a minimum.
Damm........was hoping to maintain enough integrity for a factory warranty.

Suspension, exhaust, and flash shouldn't put your warranty in jeopardy. I've had more than that done AT THE DEALER and my warranty is still in effect. Do it...

RT are you describing Porsche policy or an experience based on the desecration of your service manager?

Cheers,
