FVD Brombacher - 2010 997 TT Exhaust & headers–available next week, order yours now!

M&M has a new 997.2 TT in house for exhaust development, they are just finalizing a design and will be shipping out our new exhaust’s & headers next week. Here are a few pictures of the stock 997.2TT Boysen system vs. our 997TT system for those who are interested in the difference's between the old and new. I will update this post with pictures as soon as FVD Germany receives the first systems.

FVD is proud to introduce our newest line of Brombacher exhaust systems. Brombacher exhausts are engineered for the discerning Porsche® owner and offer unmatched performance, unparalleled quality, and incredible value. All of our exhausts are manufactured in Germany and are tested comprehensively for flow rate and characteristics, thermal stress, resistance to cracking, and longevity. To further ensure quality, all of our exhaust systems meet the standards of the German independent testing agency TÜV; whose quality standards are among some of the strictest in the world.

Brombacher mufflers outer shell dampens and eliminates unwanted frequencies and ensures no resonance or drone in the cabin. The end result is a strong, linear, firing-order dominated flat-6 Porsche® sound. Each of our exhausts have been extensively tested on both a chassis and engine dyno as well as logged thousands of miles on both the street and at the track. All this research, development and testing ensures maximum horsepower gains throughout a broad power band; all while maintaining reasonable sound levels for the street and provide a distinct, sporty exhaust note that is purely Porsche®.

Thanks,
Rhonda

Just got the pictures of the headers....

You may notice a slip fit connection on the headers, this was originally developed and tested to survive the grueling environment of endurance racing.

Shorter length headers tend to crack on cylinders 3 and 4 under the higher heat and vibration at the track. Shorter pipe length does not have room to expand like a longer tube header which causes the cracking. Our double push-piece design on cylinders 3 and 4 allows the shorter length header to expand under these conditions and prevents cracking that has always been an issue on cylinders 3 and 4.

FVD Brombacher headers are the only headers on the market which feature this innovative design ensuring years of trouble free operation. In the picture you will see how the design is made to flow smoothly inside the tubing...

We have these tips available for the 997.1 Turbo...

They are 80 mm each in diameter. You can only use them in conjunction with our muffler though as our systems are 70 mm straight through. I will pm you a price for the muffler and the tips.

Thank u,
SpunkyQ8,

Let me start by saying great avatar, one of my favorite photo's from Gemballa of all time. Nice to see it again.

Currently the tune is only done via a bench flash, so the ECU would have to come out. We have been working on the flash cable though and are getting close to release. Beta trials on cars will come very shortly as we will not release until we are 100% reliable with the cable.

I will keep everyone updated.

Thanks,
Rhonda
